Our first MABIM toolkit on Specialist Services is a set of example documents, templates and tools from existing perinatal mental health community services. They have been provided by services in Hampshire, Berkshire and Devon. This toolkit is for anyone setting up or running a specialist perinatal mental health community service who can use the toolkit to get ideas and inspiration for their own resources.
The Leaders’ Top Tips report captures the key messages from our MABIM masterclass event on developing specialist perinatal mental health community services. Commissioners, providers and clinicians can use the top tips to learn lessons from existing perinatal mental health community services. The report contains top tips from our expert speakers who have experience in developing and leading specialist services. It provides insights and ideas for anyone on the journey to setting up a successful community service.
We hope that these resources are helpful and we welcome your feedback. If you have comments on the toolkit please email them to Shogg@mentalhealth.org.
Mums and Babies in Mind supports local leaders in four areas of England to improve care and quality of life for mums with mental health problems during pregnancy and the first year of life, and their babies.
