Today (4th May) marks the first World Maternal Mental Health Day. Organisations from around the world — including the UK, US, Canada, Turkey, Australia, Argentina, Malta, New Zealand, South Africa, Spain, Germany, Nigeria, and more — are leading efforts to raise awareness about maternal mental health through a collective social media push and in-country events. The Maternal Mental Health Alliance are joining these collective efforts and our members have been writing blogs, baking World MMH Day cakes, holding events, recording podcasts and raising awareness that #maternalMHmatters.
