Together, let's bring perinatal mental health Out of the Shadows

From October 10th to 17th, we’re taking part in our first-ever matched fundraising campaign with the Big Give.

Our goal? To raise £10,000. During the week, every donation made via the Big Give website will be doubled!

The silence around perinatal mental health leaves too many parents feeling isolated and to blame. Mental illness is the most common complication during and after pregnancy, yet 70% of mothers hide or downplay their struggles.

It's time to break the silence and start the conversation.

What we're raising money for

We are raising money to build a new content hub for parents (and those around them). A free, reassuring, and credible space to learn about mental health before, during and after pregnancy. Our goal is to inspire sensitive, nuanced conversations and hopeful social narratives about perinatal mental health.

So many mums tell us they wish they'd known more and had got help earlier. Raising awareness and tackling stigma through accessible information can help prevent suffering and even save lives.

How the Big Give works

All donations made via the Big Give website during 10th to 17th October will be doubled by The Big Give Trust until we reach our target. If you are eligible and say 'yes' to Gift Aid when you donate, we will receive 25% more, meaning your £20 donation could turn into £45!

Double your donation.  Double your difference.

I was filled with anxiety after the birth of my second child. I was in tears all the time but reluctant to tell anyone. I felt pressure as a Black mum that I’d be judged and not listened to and scared my children would be taken away if I spoke up.
