The Maternal Mental Health Alliance (MMHA) is looking for a new Chair to provide dynamic and credible leadership for the next phase of the Alliance’s work influencing provision at national and local levels across the UK. The MMHA’s member organisations have a key role in decision-making and delivering the goals of the charity. Our Chair needs a deep commitment to the mental health of women during pregnancy and the first year of their child’s life and to improving outcomes for them and their families. This role is key to harnessing the efforts of members, trustees and staff to deliver the strategic goals of the MMHA. We therefore need someone who understands the national context and can establish credibility with MMHA members and trustees as well as demonstrate an understanding of the charity sector.
We are looking to formally appoint the position, following an interview process, in Spring 2020 by election at a member’s meeting.
Application is by CV and covering letter describing your reasons for applying for the role and how your skills and experience fit with the person specification as outlined in the job description – please click here to view.
We welcome informal conversations about the role prior to application. If you would like to arrange this, please contact email@example.com.
