Maternity Action is the UK’s leading charity committed to ending inequality and improving the health and well-being of pregnant women, partners and young children – from conception through to the child’s early years.

• The Maternity Rights Advice Service delivers telephone and email advice to pregnant women and new parents on employment rights, maternity pay, maternity benefits and breastfeeding rights. We deliver a national service and regional services in partnership with the NHS.
• The Employment Casework service, delivered in partnership with YESS Law, provides free legal casework and peer support for more complex cases or where women are in need of further support.
• The Maternity Care Access Advice Service delivers advice and casework on charging for NHS care to migrant and asylum seeking women, midwives and advisers.
• The Migrant Women’s Rights Service provides advice and training to midwives and voluntary sector workers on housing, income and healthcare for migrant, refugee and asylum seeking women.
