The Miscarriage Association

The Miscarriage Association exists to provide support and information to anyone affected by the often deeply distressing experiences of miscarriage, ectopic or molar pregnancy, and to raise awareness of their impact.
We achieve this through:
- Our staffed support services, including our telephone and live chat helpline; email and social media direct messaging
- Our comprehensive, evidence-based website
- Our patient information leaflets – available for all free of charge, including for all healthcare settings throughout the UK
- Online and in-person peer support groups
- Our online communities (forum and private social media groups)
- Offering training and learning for healthcare professionals in providing high quality care for patients experiencing pregnancy loss
- Offering advice, guidance and training for workplaces on best practice in supporting employees
- Contributing to research into and around the impact of pregnancy loss
- Raising awareness of the facts and feelings around pregnancy loss and reducing the stigma and taboo often associated with it
- Advocating for those affected and ensuring their voices and experiences are heard by policy and decision-makers.
